Mataas na Kahoy · Batangas · Above Taal Lake
Where the sun sets over the lake.
Forty-five minutes of pink sky, every clear evening, from a pool that looks straight at the volcano.
Why guests choose us
Closer to the lake than the rim. Quieter than the resort strip. Warm in the way only Filipino hospitality is.
We sit on the southern hills above Taal, looking across the caldera at the cone. The view from Tagaytay is famous; the view from here is closer, quieter, and on most days, empty.
The view
An infinity pool that ends where Taal Lake begins — volcano in the centre, palm trees framing the edge.
Designed for the whole family
Two suites, a family room, a chef's kitchen, a lounge with the sound system already set up. Bring everyone.
Filipino warmth, modern comfort
Aircon in every room, fast Wi-Fi, hot water on demand — and a host who remembers your kids' names by morning.
An hour and a half from Manila
Close enough for a long weekend. Far enough that you'll forget what day it is.
Where you'll stay
Three suites, a family room — all lake-facing.
Book a single room, or take the whole resort for the kind of stay you'd only book once a year. Each option has the same view, the same pool, the same warm Filipino welcome.

Whole-Resort Buyout
The whole property to yourselves — all the rooms, the pool, the lounge, the kitchen. The way we'd book it for our own family reunion.

The kitchen + lounge
Cook for everyone. Or don't — Lipa town is four kilometres down the hill.
The resort has a fully-equipped kitchen — gas stove, oven, full-size fridge, the kapeng barako already on the counter — and a dining area that seats fourteen. Most of our guests cook a long breakfast and head out for dinner.
We can also arrange catering for groups (Filipino fiesta, plated Western, or a long-table family-style spread). Tell us when you reach out and we'll send menu options.

Notes left by the people who've woken up here.
Booked the whole resort for my mum's 70th. The pool at sunset, the kitchen full of cousins cooking — felt like our own private island.
The infinity pool is genuinely as nice as the photos. We had eighteen people, three cars, and not a single complaint. We'll be back next December.
Closer to Taal than the Tagaytay rim hotels and at half the price. The host messaged us back in twenty minutes on a Sunday. Already planning a return.
Modern, clean, well-stocked kitchen. The kids didn't want to leave the pool; we didn't want to leave the view.
Events & Celebrations
Birthdays, reunions, intimate weddings — held privately above the lake.
Book the whole resort and the property is yours from check-in to check-out. The pool, the lounge, the kitchen, the view. We host one event at a time, so the day belongs entirely to you.
